Paras's health condition 'critical'

KATHMANDU, FEB 22 - Paras Shah The health condition of former crown prince Paras Shah , who suffered a heart attack on Tuesday in Bangkok is deteriorating, according to sources.
Shah's health has further worsened as compared to Thursday, quoting hospital sources, Nepali Embassy in Thailand said.
Shah was admitted at Samitivej Hospital in Bangkok after he suffered cardiac arrest last Tuesday. Shah had a history of heart disease—he underwent a surgery after suffering a mild attack in September 2007.
Shah had reportedly stopped taking medications prescribed for his heart condition, which led to the attack, sources said.
A CT scan performed on Shah’s brain on Thursday had also shown a mild form of infection.
"As per the information provided by the hospital, Shah is in critical state, we have not received any news as being rumored outside, said Deputy Chief of the Nepali mission in Thailand Dornath Aryal, in a telephonic conversation with ekantipur team.
Shah who suffered the second heart attack has been shifted from the ICU to the CCU, sources confirmed.
